Centri Taps Blake Roberts to Lead Technical Accounting Practice
Centri Business Consulting, LLC, one of the industry’s fastest-growing and most respected accounting and advisory firms, recently announced the addition of a new Partner and Technical Accounting Practice Leader, Blake Roberts. With this appointment, Roberts assumes the position from Jaime Krug, who will now focus exclusively on her role as Chief Quality Officer where she leads the firm’s quality control policies, procedures, and processes across all business operations, including oversight of the Centri National Office.
Prior to joining Centri, Blake was an audit partner at BDO USA, LLP, where he drove revenue growth for the firm’s Technology & Life Sciences industry groups. Blake earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from King’s College and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is also a member of the AICPA, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jaime Krug joined Centri in 2014 and has been an essential contributor to the firm’s growth in various leadership roles. As the firm’s Chief Quality Officer, Jaime oversees the strategic development, processes, and initiatives related to training and growing a team of professionals, both technically and qualitatively while upholding Centri’s commitment to quality of services and client satisfaction. Additionally, she oversees the Centri National Office, a dedicated quality control team that performs independent quality control and technical reviews of the work produced by Centri professionals.
John Huckle Joins Schneider Downs as Tech Consulting Practice Shareholder
Schneider Downs, one of the 60 largest certified public accounting and business advisory firms in the United States, recently announced that John Huckle has been named Shareholder in the firm’s growing Technology Consulting Practice. Mr. Huckle will be based in the firm’s Pittsburgh, PA office, while helping to lead the firm’s Digital Innovation Consulting practice across the firm’s offices in Columbus, Pittsburgh and Washington D.C.
Mr. Huckle has extensive experience in the technology consulting realm. Before joining Schneider Downs, John was a partner at a regional technology consulting firm focused on developing innovative approaches to drive effectiveness, efficiency and profitability.
John is a graduate of Duquesne University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology
Sun Joins CohnReznick as Principal, Cybersecurity
CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, recently announced that David Sun has joined the firm as Principal in its rapidly growing Cybersecurity practice. Sun will be leading and expanding the security incident response and recovery services and computer forensic and litigation support services for the practice, as well as developing comprehensive cloud security service offerings, which will allow CohnReznick to provide clients with access to end-to-end suite of cybersecurity, technology risk, and privacy services.
Sun has 25 years of cybersecurity and IT management experience responding to data breach and privacy incidents, internal employee malfeasance, and government agency investigations. As a leading industry consulting expert specializing in describing technology-related issues, Sun has served a testifying expert or court appointed expert on hundreds of litigation matters.
Before joining CohnReznick, Sun was the founder and president of SunBlock Systems, Inc., a global litigation advisory firm that specialized in electronic evidence. Through two subsequent acquisitions, Sun joined a major accounting and advisory firm as a principal and its national practice leader for cyber incident response and forensics.
KPMG LLP Appoints Danielle Rolfes to Lead its Washington National Tax Practice
Danielle Rolfes has recently been named partner-in-charge of the Washington National Tax (WNT) practice of KPMG LLP, the audit, tax and advisory firm. Rolfes succeeds Manal Corwin, who recently returned to public service as Director of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Centre for Tax Policy and Administration. Rolfes also assumes the role of Tax Policy Lead for the Americas.
In overseeing WNT, Danielle will lead a team of tax technical professionals and will serve as the lead tax technical resource for the firm and its clients. Danielle will also continue in her client-facing role, advising companies on how to navigate both international and domestic tax policy changes.
Danielle has co-led the KPMG WNT International Tax group since 2017. Prior to joining KPMG, she served as International Tax Counsel at the US Department of Treasury’s Office of Tax Policy. During her tenure there, she was the principal legal adviser to the Assistant Secretary of Tax Policy and other Treasury officials. Before law school, Danielle was an accountant at Procter & Gamble.
Danielle is a graduate of Harvard Law School where she was editor of the Harvard Law Review. She received her LLM from Georgetown University Law Center and earned her undergraduate degree in accounting from Wright State University.
